Yesterday, in a press release, the state government re-allowed the wearing of visors in trade.
"Against the background of the described experiences from practice and as a result of the joint discussion, the Ministry of Health clarifies that the wearing of visors by salespersons and in gastronomy is possible under these conditions (distance rules)."
(Press release RLP 8.6.2020)
However, visors are still only permitted for private use in exceptional cases.
The back and forth is really frustrating, especially since Hesse recognised visors as an equivalent alternative a week earlier.
The best thing would be a uniform regulation like in Austria, where visors are considered an alternative to masks throughout the country.
