Why choose our diameter measurement?
Our QiTech laser is our solution for monitoring the filament diameter during production. With its modular design, our product is compatible with almost any extrusion line and ensures the production of uniform filament. This is essential for high-quality prints.
All our machines can be found with detailed documentation on GitHub . We believe in collaboration instead of competition.
Features
Easy to use
The non-contact measurement makes integrating the laser into the process chain as easy as possible. During extrusion, the filament does not have to be threaded in laboriously, but is conveniently guided over the guide rollers.
Laser technology
Our filament measurement uses two lasers that enable high-precision measurements with deviations of ±0.01 mm in a range of 0.2-30 mm.
Control the JARVIS DRE with our own software
With our new QiTech Control software, you can monitor all our machines and view useful graphs and information during production. The app can also be used to synchronize the laser with our rewinding unit. This allows you to automatically adjust the speed so that your filament has the desired diameter throughout.
QiTech Control also offers the option of starting your own web server, which you can then use to control your machines via your mobile phone/tablet.

Modbus interface
On the back of the unit there is a connection for external computers. Modbus' communication can be used to request and transmit all recorded data.
Buzzer
If the measured filament deviates from the desired diameter, the laser can optionally emit a signal tone. In this way, attention can be drawn to irregularities immediately during operation.
In order to provide you with the longest and most uncomplicated use of our products, we can send all STL files of the 3D printed parts or ship spare parts upon request.
