QiTech XL winder for 10kg coils - fiber winding

Our first delivery!

Today we are celebrating the successful delivery of the first XL winder for Schellenberger Bürstenfabrik. The XL winder is specially designed for handling large bobbins that can weigh up to 10 kilograms.
The XL winder is a special development for Schellenberger Bürstenfabrik and can hold huge bobbins weighing up to 10 kilograms.  

Technical highlights:

• As part of the order, we had to wind thin fibers, which are particularly electrostatically charged, so we reinforced all the protective functions!
• The 20 mm stainless steel axle has double bearings and an enlarged bobbin holder
• Thanks to the sliding coil attachment, almost any large spool can be used
• The larger structure enables the extended crosshead for precise positioning of the filament - new spools can be calibrated using the built-in laser
• The extended frame and wider spacing prevent complications caused by too steep an angle in the filament path
• For rewinding, simply enter the pull-off speed in meters Pro-minute - the reel axis adjusts the speed based on the measured values of the load arm
• Our XL-Winder enables speeds of up to 58 meters per minute
• The software enables precise setting options and special wrapping functions, e.g. stop after a certain number of meters
• Over the past few months, we have wound kilometers of thread to guarantee the reliability of the new systems
