The automatic adjustment of the winding speed is a crucial feature for a smooth winding/extrusion process. The JARVIS Winder adjusts the rotation speed of the spool fully automatically depending on the filament tension. If the filament tension is too low, the spool speed increases; if it is too tight, the speed decreases until the filament has exactly the right tension for perfect winding.
