Automatic adjustment of the spooling speed is a crucial feature for a smooth winding/extrusion process. The JARVIS Winder automatically adjusts the spool rotational speed spool on the filament tension. If the filament is too loose, the winding speed increases; if it is too tight, the speed decreases until the filament has exactly the right tension for perfect winding.
